At Lupus Colorado, we are more than an organization—we are a community bound by compassion, resilience, and the belief that no one should face lupus alone. Today, we’re asking for your help on behalf of one of our own: Tommy Jabczynski.
Tommy’s battle with lupus began over three decades ago, when he was diagnosed in 1989. His case has been severe from the start—beginning with in-home chemotherapy and eventually progressing to kidney failure. Today, Tommy endures constant pain, relies on dialysis to stay alive, and juggles an exhausting rotation of specialist visits. Despite it all, he shows up every day with courage and grit.
But now, he needs us. His only path to reclaiming any quality of life is through a kidney transplant—and we believe in the power of community to help make that happen.
Tommy is in urgent need of a living kidney donor with blood type O-.
