Kristy Kibler, Chief Executive Officer
Kristy Kibler serves as the CEO of Lupus Colorado, bringing a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, advocacy, and community engagement. With a strong background in government relations and strategic planning, Kristy has worked extensively to build communities and foster relationships that drive impactful change. Her previous roles include Government Relations Manager at the Colorado Optometric Association, where she led legislative initiatives and developed advocacy programs, and Business Network Manager at PeopleForBikes, where she increased political influence and built a community of industry leaders through events and advocacy efforts.
Kristy has a long history of leadership and board involvement, including serving on the Colorado Mountain Biking Association and the Coalition for Recreational Trails. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Florida and has a passion for community building and supporting vulnerable populations. Kristy is committed to advancing Lupus Colorado’s mission to improve the quality of life for those affected by lupus, advocating for better healthcare access, and fostering a supportive community for patients and their families.
In her role, she draws on her skills in fundraising, strategic planning, and advocacy to ensure that Lupus Colorado continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by lupus across the state.
