Janel Loud-Mahany, MBA, AINS, AIS, Board Member

Janel Loud-Mahany brings a wealth of experience in healthcare policy and risk management to the Lupus Colorado Board of Directors. As Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Policyholder Services at COPIC Insurance Company, she oversees operations, underwriting, and customer service while playing a key role in market expansion and business development. She is also a member of COPIC’s reinsurance team and has served on its Operational Council since 2022.

A Colorado native, Janel holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Regis University. Passionate about advocacy and patient support, she is committed to amplifying the voices of those living with lupus and working to improve their quality of life.

Outside of work and board service, Janel stays busy raising her two boys, traveling with family and friends, and enjoying comedy shows and dining out.
