Amber Wall’s connection with Lupus Colorado began in 2007 when she joined a support group sponsored by the organization. Diagnosed with Systemic Lupus at age 16, Amber found encouragement, understanding, and friendship within the group, which she has attended faithfully ever since. In 2019, she took on the role of facilitator, helping others find the same sense of community and resilience that has supported her for so many years.
Professionally, Amber built a career in resource development and fundraising, working across municipal, educational, and nonprofit sectors. Her expertise spans grant writing, grant research and management, and program development. Guided by a deep belief in service and the betterment of others, Amber has devoted her career to advancing causes that strengthen communities and improve lives.
A native of Maine, Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona. She moved to Colorado in 2001 after meeting her husband, Dave, at a friend’s wedding on Cape Cod. Amber enjoys reading, creative writing, spending time in nature, and completing jigsaw puzzles. She and Dave share their home in Highlands Ranch with their three beloved cats.
